Meet Brooklyn – an Online Content Executive working in our Digital department. We love how she’s styled her Marble Special Edition LCF sneakers – find out her fantastically throwback style reference when you read on.

What’s your role at FitFlop?

I’m an Online Content Executive, working as part of the Digital team.

Can you tell us a little bit about roles you’ve had before joining FitFlop?

I started out working in trade teams at online retailers. Being on the trade side allows me to think with two different hats which I love! I can be both creative and analytical.

What does a normal day look like for you?

I start my day by checking and reading my emails. On days where I’m building landing pages, I’ll work my way through while listening to music! I’m responsible for ensuring customers have a great online experience by making sure all touch-points across our websites are up to date, and also by managing and coordinating the execution of the homepage plan. I’m constantly planning ahead.

Why is comfort important to you in your job?

Wearing something comfortable is important to me at ALL times. I’m my happiest when I’m most comfortable, and this has a positive impact on my productivity at work.

What’s your favourite thing about working here at FitFlop?

Working with amazing people and the work perks of course!

What do you like most about the LCF Marble sneakers?

I love the unique marble pattern, and the tones of red used. Reminds me of Antelope Canyon in Arizona where the Britney Spears video for ’I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman’ was filmed! Watch it online if you don’t know what I mean.

Tell us the inspiration behind the outfit you’ve paired with these shoes.

I wanted to show how I would style the sneakers to transform what could be a more formal look. I imagine I’d go for an easy Saturday brunch in this get up.

What is your wardrobe staple, the one thing you can’t live without?

A classic oversized white shirt! Can be worn tucked into jeans, shorts, wide leg trousers or tied and worn with a midi skirt. When the weather is cooler I like to layer it under a heavy knit.

Who would you say is your style icon?

I love the bloggers Sasha Mei and Matilda Jerf. Simple, feminine and casual tailoring. I also love looks from the brand Jacquemus.

What are some other styles in our new range that you are excited about?

Definitely the new ankle boots, especially the Maria. I’m also loving the Freya suede sneaker in blue.
